After The Flood

After the Flood members John Linn, Laura Ettabbakh and Alys Willman started singing together at Saint Stephen and the Incarnation Episcopal Church in Washington, DC in 2010, where they discovered a mutual love for close harmony singing in traditional American styles. In 2015, percussionist Zack Gleiberman brought in the rhythm, and when cellist Maxfield Wollam-Fisher and bassist Matt Wharton joined in 2016, the band really came together. Blurring the boundaries between sacred and secular styles, After the Flood walks the line between the church and the city streets, singing songs of justice and devotion, of brokenness and praise in soaring harmony.
